Care & Conditioning
Extending the Bloom
Every Orchid delivery arrives cut, conditioned, and hydrated so your table is ready the moment the box arrives. A few simple steps keep the stems vibrant well past the weekend:
Fresh, Cold Water
Top off your vessel with fresh, cold water upon arrival. Stems drink heavily during their first 24 hours in the home.
Stem Recut
If refreshing water mid-week, trim stems ½ inch at a 45-degree angle with sharp floral shears — never household scissors, which crush the water channels.
Placement & Light
Keep arrangements away from direct afternoon sun, drafty heating/AC vents, and fresh fruit bowls (which release ripening ethylene gas).
Vessel Care (The Classic)
Rinse your welcome vase with warm soapy water between Friday refills to prevent bacteria buildup.
